These are components of the original PC1501 54" ID hull with max operating depth of 1200' in its original configuration. They include the bow dome with stainless steel viewport insert and viewport which is well out of date and has some surface crazing, the motor compartment tailcone, and the original lockout chamber trunk and 30" hatch which can be inverted as the conning tower base. The new stainless MBTs are available as a 33" pair with 400 lbs net bouyancy and a 46" pair with 600 lb. net bouyancy. The basics are here and require a hull cylinder with ribs to complete the pressure vessel. The hull cylinder length will determine displacement. A 55" OD cylinder will displace roughly 1000 lbs per foot. |
