I was just wondering from the point of view of how much to allow for on top
of the batteries when designing the battery container. Guess it's a case of
purchasing them first.

Vance, you mentioned a diesel / electric sub that Kittridge designed. How do
I find out more about it ?

In a diesel electric sub, do you see any danger in venting the battery
containers from the snorkel and then sending the air into the engine intake
? It would not be the full volume of surface air and the batteries would be
fitted with hydro-caps. It would be an extra problem to vent the battery box
to the outside of the sub. Any ideas anybody ?

I have sold the yacht :-) Makes my sub one step closer !
