Some people assured me the Disney NAUTILUS was an unfeasible design: others
drove by while I was unloading steel and called out "It aint never gonna
float!" I'd hear comments like "It can't be done!" (Or) "Why don't you
just go over Niagara Falls in a barrel?" (Or) "Oh yeah, he'll go down
alright; ABOUT SIX FEET! HA!" (Funny, though: after the boat became
operational, all those naysayers stopped coming around.)
