RE: [PSUBS-MAILIST] New to the list and to Personal subs!
In reply to #1
This is true....
#2 If you fill the Tank with water the Fumes will be
gone...no risk of explosion left after draining the
water...If there is an odor left its the additive that
gives propane its smell...
#3 OK...so what if you do?
#4 Most propane tanks are setup on a site filled with
propane then just set there...what abuse?????? What
stress?
5# Seems to me with proper bracing from the inside the
Sub Designer would take this into account.
As for the second part of the post....The questions
rasied are the same. Can't crush depth be determined
by putting the sub on a cable and sending the sub
unmaned to a point say two or three times past the
depth you will operate the sub??????
And I guess we all " Want to die" cause no homebuilt
sub is 100% safe.
Last but not least...I have seen alot of subs on the net
that were made out of propane tanks....Anyone ever
hear of them imploding???? I know a guy here in Michigan
died when he had trouble with a porthole bursting ( I
think thats what the reason was ). But lets get some
facts here before we discourage anyone from building a
sub....
I don't have a sub...am planing to build the AQUASUB
which is alot safer in my mind then those you guys
are building...my friends say I will die in it...
Lets get some facts up here guys...
Thanks,
Rob Teed
