I don't want to disappoint any one, or spoil the fun: I just don't feel
qualified to be the judge; and besides, that would preclude my being a
contestant.
Why not post the pictures, and let the membership vote on them, based on
which one they think best reflects Verne's description (see the Crisafulli
site if in doubt about that was); or on which one they happen to like. It
would be easy: we could start a thread, and in the SUBJECT block each member
could say "I vote for Carsten" or "I vote for Ray". Votes could be received
up to a specified deadline, after which the contest would be over. That way
everyone one could tell at a glance who the winner was, and the decision
wouldn't be based on my opinion alone. Much fairer all the way around, I
think.
