Tim, Suds and all:
Check out the link that Carsten posted below, and once there go down to the
fineprint at the bottom of the page and click on the highlighted word
"Triburon". This is one cool sub! It was designed by the same guys that
designed U-boats during the war. I thank it is just what everyone had in
mind when we were talking about a small military sub to convert to a
commercial adventure craft. Imagine the possibilities. Oh I know, there
were only two built and are not available for sale, but imagine building
one! Simplify the design a little. Use modern components. It may not have
the capabilities of the original, but would still keep the military flavor.
Keep the twin engine design in case one of the power plants decides to
quit.....
