[PSUBS-MAILIST] Piezo speaker...
Efferbuddy,
I was looking for an underwater P.A system for my
submarine; several guys offered ideas on how to make one; then I found a
commercial unit on the 'net. Problem is, these systems are kinda
pricey. I'll buy it if I have to, but I'd rather build my own speaker if
possible.
Tesla Tony mentioned making the speaker out of a
piezo disk; and it turns out this is the technology of choice used by the
pros.
I've been searching the 'net for a piezo disk at a
reasonable price; no luck so far.
Anybody know who sells 'em?
