A normal dry ambient boat has no pressure hull and will crack or blown a
seal. 

In theory..  yes - with a pressure hull sub with double acting seals and
hatches. But will be more expensive than a 1 atm sub. 

And much more than a normal ambient sub. The idear of a ambient sub is
that it has no pressure hull. Your can use your silicon sealed cadillac 
or any other car to build a dry ambient sub.
