Re: [PSUBS-MAILIST] Mafia drug sub

Hi Paul - if the density of drugs in bags is not far away from saltwter
you can carry it outside in free flooding compartments- and the sub can
be pretty small.

But I think that a transatlantic sub to smuggle is complete useless..

If you go to the google earth satelitte programm to
53 10 37.79 N and 8 33 48.73 E you can see my sub - you can meassure the
length, the beam and even the exact diameter of the softtanks entrance.
Obviousliy this satellite pictures are some years old - but imagine if
the are online and in much higher resolution like the goverment has..

Any transaltlantic sub needs a harbour, any transatlantic dieselpowered
sub makes a lot of noise - easy to detect the sosus system..

I think a smugle transatlantic subs takes much more attention to the
military authoritys than a 8000 units container ship with one container
with 30s of cocaine labeld in milkpowderbags in cargo hold 22 and 15
levels deeper than the top containers ..

In general as shown two times the authoritey catch the smugle subs
before the launched.. :-)

regards Carsten - Euronaut can carry about 3 ts of something - anaeay if
sonar instruments or milkpowder..

That article Bill posted is so similar to what happened a year ago.
Same town of Tumaco and the same 10 ton cargo estimate. This is a
popular size of illicit PSUB. Now what is
the cargo capacity of Euronaut? ;-)
