Sorry, I'll try in english this time! The main ballast tanks need to
have sloped tops. They can slope down at the bow and stern, or they can
slope down side-ways. The best is to slope them BOTH ways, like in the
Kittredge boats and many others. The bottom line is you need a high
point at which to mount the valves that let air out of the tanks. If
not, air will become entrapped in some corner of the ballast tanks when
you're trying to vent them.
