Hi guys. I talked to Chris with Delta today and he said they will be
working down in Monterey Bay for 2 months. They are waiting for their support
ship to get here from Seattle, and will be docking either at the MBARI dock in
Moss Landing ( their first choice ) or the main harbor marina in
Monterey.
Although they will be busy mobilizing for their up coming job there and
will be very busy, he said come on down and look around. He said they always
have a few days during any job where the activity level drops off due to
weather or what not, and he'd be available to spend some time with me
answering questions.
I cruised their web site in a little more detail this morning and saw
that they have done some pretty amazing stuff over the years. Traveling the
world with their sub, and hanging out with folks like Bob Ballard and National
Geographic. Take a look, it's pretty cool.
Anyway, I'll be driving down late this week to see what I can see, and
when they can break loose to answer questions, I'll try to get any questions
you guys may have answered as well. Check out their site and if anything comes
to mind, let me know.
