The non-pressurized outer body is fiberglas,
but the pressure hull is steel. I believe you stand upright in it, which I
think is a very worthy design with numerous fabrication benefits for
short-duration dives.
Hi Hugh. Looks like the Uboatworx people have been busy. Good to 100
meters? That should sell their subs well. These subs are made of fiberglass I
think. I like the one large dome versus the two smaller ones on the first
models. Frank D.
