RE: [PSUBS-MAILIST] Manipulator actuation / design

Brian,

Gel Cells is a generic term for a variety of forms of batteries that semi-solidify in one form or another the electrolyte contained in the battery.  Attended an international commercial boat builders show this past week and an Optima engineer is suppose to get back with me concerning submersible battery issues and how their company’s batteries fit our needs.  Will pass along the info once received, see www.optimabatteries.com for further info.

Hi Phil,

What are "gelled cells" ?  is that something that is added to a

standard lead acid battery?
