[PSUBS-MAILIST] convention airfare

Has anyone been following airfare lately?  I'm going to be using 
air-miles to purchase my ticket and I've noticed a trend of the total 
miles needed to Vancouver keeps going up. A couple months ago I needed 
60k miles and only had 54k.  A couple weeks ago the miles required for a 
ticket bumped up to 73k, but I only had 62k (enough for the tickets a 
couple months ago).  I checked last night and the required miles are now 
74k, but I've only got 73.8k!!!

So either ticket prices are going up or I've got a cat and mouse game 
going on with my credit card company.  The problem is that they only 
post additional miles to my account every couple of weeks and that seems 
to be in lock step with the price of airfare just staying above the 
total miles I have to me account.  I suppose I can just check online for 
the price of a ticket and follow it.
