Re: [PSUBS-MAILIST] May I ask for expert opinions?

I've seen fragmentary discussion of Euronaut but had not searched for
the "base" site. Thanks! No need for translation - three years in Swiss
schools and Intermediate German at the Defense Language Institute gave
me a pretty good reading knowledge of German.

That is a very impressive machine. It does look like the tankage is all
internal to the pressure hull, though. An odd practice, considering the
cost of pressure hull volume and the operational complications.

I like the lockout chamber-Simon Lake would be proud. All they're
missing are wheels for bottom-crawling. Primary mission is raising
wrecks - another Lakeish pursuit.

Nuclear power would be tough to wedge into that hull, even if the
tankage were moved outboard. But I could see betavoltaics, or better yet
a "resonant" type radioisotope rig.

Best,
Marc
