       I have that quote in my hot little hand.  I suspect that most steel
prices are going to be universal... *&#@*&....................Scratch that
......just got a call from another steel company with a quote for the same
piece in which they quoted me $905.00 for the same piece.  I don't know what
is going on but I think I better get the first one before they change their
mind !

Your cost was more in the ballpark.  Brian would need 94.25 inch wide
material to make a diameter of 30 inches.  I'm wondering if the guy
quoted a 30 inch wide x 9 foot piece, forgetting to do the math to
calculate the material needed for a cylinder.  I hope not.  If the price
stands, and the material is up to spec, I think Brian just found us a
great supplier of steel.
