I haven't bought my batteries yet but I think it would be a lot of fun to
do a boat show or UI conference. Could even go to New Orleans early and take in
Mardi Gras. WOOPEE !!!
I've had lots of interest in displaying the sub locally but haven't
committed to any until it's finished, or at least looks finished. These damn
ballast tanks are taking a helluva long time to get right. The tolerance for
fit-up is so tight and there's a lot of inside corners to weld. Because they are
the major part of the outside hull it's important that they fit and look good.
Then there's the fact that I keep thinking up new things to add and my co-pilot
isn't helping at all !
