Does anyone know how Alvin's emergency separation works? All I have is the attached sketch, and I would like to see if its feasible to do something similar in my own psub design. That is, to 'separate' the cockpit from the rest of the craft (i.e. the aft diesel/electric propulsion module with keel section containing the batteries). Best regards, Jens Laland
