To all: An in-water test of two Ray Jefferson hailer based underwater broadband communications systems is scheduled within the next two weeks. The distance being attempted between these two systems will be 420' in fresh water that averages 20 to 25 feet deep. Alec Smyth and Kyle Edlund are the two system's owners. Alec has generously volunteered to allow the use of his "dipping" system at this coming convention in Florida. The depth of this system has been shortened due to signal losses from 100' down to 50'.
