Subject: [PSUBS-MAILIST] Introduction

Good Morning all, my name is John K. and until now have only viewing the posts. I started  construction on my boat last December. I currently identify it as Project 765, and it has the following specs. Length 65', Beam 6'-10.5", Draft 6' full load, Power twin Diesel-Electric Direct, 100kW generators and 75kW 240v electric motors. Two Battery banks 40 6v 300AHR in series. Operating depth will be 300' and max depth is 500'. The pressure hull shell is .562' thick and the hemispheres are .322 each. There will be 4 - 10' compartments separated by holding bulkheads 1" thick. the closure bulkheads between the shell and the hemispheres will also be 1" thick. The estimated range is 1,500 mi. This will be an ocean going boat. External viewing will be through CCTV cameras and L.E.D. spots.

I look forward to meet you all at the convention in August. For the design I am using 3D modeling software from Auto Desk called Inventor.
