Re: [PSUBS-MAILIST] light tips?

Emile & James,

Well, I received an email reply to my question asking if there is an English language version of the website.  The answer was "Nein, aber wenn Sie etwas nicht verstehen, können Sie mich auch auf englisch fragen und ich antworte dann sogut ich kann."

I think that means, "No, but if you do not understand something, you can ask me in English and I'll answer the best I can."

They have a lot of neat items and it's good to know they are there if needed, but I think I can find the lights I need in the USA.

Emile & James,

I wrote to DEV and asked if they have an English language website available.  So far I've only received an automatic reply (in German) thanking me for the email.  ("Vielen Dank für Ihre Nachricht an DEV e-Shop").  It's just too difficult for me to navigate in German.

Thanks,
Jim

Ah,

You can use the halogen Gy 35 bulbs and holders from the local hardware store.

Pity the site is German only as they have a lot of DIY lamp parts. Their reflectors are good.

An array of ultra bright LED ‘s is also possible. Anyone experience??

Hi Emile.

I meant to say just normal lights.  Not needed to be waterproof as i am going to make pressure housings using those blue globe glands you sent me.

But, those ones do look nice.

Just normal halogen. You can choose the standart bulb from 10 to 250 Watt!

You can also swap the reflector. I recommend a wide angle.

Good value for money. With another cable gland they can go to 1000 Ft.
