hokay.,.. lets just throw this out.. I am the person who probably needs a
little more than the formula , but, I have a 5/8 thick hull, 8 feet long,
with rounded ends on it. also 5/8 thick.. (rounded as in cut a 4ft piece of
pipe in half, and weld the pieces on the end) I am gonna dive it to 250
feet max.. probably much less most of the time.. (150 or less).. My little
brain figures that this pipe (new pipeline pipe) will hold in excess of
2500 lbs/sq/in inside trying to get out,  it is certain to hold less than
200lbs/sq/in from the outside..



Ok.. I have braced myself.. let the comments fly..............
