A plastic one is Inches without rings and feet with rings.
Glass bottle??? never tested one.... YET :-)

What is real impressive is that it takes about 350 PSI internally to
blow up a plastic one, and it's a loud bang!!!
At about 150 psi the plastic bottle will ring like a glass bell. Ting.
You don't even find much of the bottle left after it blows. What is left
is embedded in the outside wall of the shop! It was on the outside of
the wall, I was safe on the inside.
Don't try this at home!

I think you will find that the corks just get pushed in till the
pressure is about equal. That's my guess anyway.
