Message-ID: Hi All I got a dive in on Wednesday which was really good. Started off a bit worrying when my brother who was driving the support boat got a rope around the prop and it killed the engine. He eventually managed to get it going, but it was concerning as once im on the sand waiting for the tide, i cannot abort the day. It goes to show how reliant i am on the support boat. It contains all the emergency things and is there in case i have a motor failure to pull me away from danger. The tides and wind here can be menacing, even on a nice day so i could find myself on the rocks pretty quick if i lost power. I am thinking I will get a bigger boat. I was carrying an anchor this time, which i havent done before and i was grateful I had it, as i was thinking that if the boat couldnt get going I would just anchor off the bay and wait it out until the tide went out. However it was all good in the end. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7P78m1zRtxA Regards James -------------- next part -------------- An HTML attachment was scrubbed... URL:
