This week my dad suffered a heart attack and was life-flighted to a
hospital for triple-bypass open heart surgery. The surgery seems to be
successful and he will be recovering for a period of several weeks.

Regrettably there is no way we'll be able to make the May expedition that I
had previously committed to attending... so sorry about this.

I know you guys were counting on the new Zodiac as a support boat. While I
can't bring it up to you, if someone wants to swing through Franklin, PA
(where the boat is currently located) I'm happy to loan it to the
expedition. It's got a brand new 25HP 4-stroke engine that could use some
breaking in is all.

I'm sure the event will be awesome and I really wish we could attend, but
this family health issue take priority of course.
