[Member-Forum] ABS Calculator Question

Hi Guys
Im doing some designs using the psubs calculator along with Autodesk Fusion
360.

This might seem stupid, but with the ABS calculator, how does it know how
many stiffeners are present?

Take for example:  A 48 inch long hull between bulkheads.  You specify 12
inch between stiffeners.

1.  Does it start the first stiffener AT the bulkhead and calculate spaces
of 12 from there, so 5 stiffeners?

OR

2.  Does it start FROM the bulkhead and calculate from there.  so 3
stiffeners?

I assume its number 1, but i dont like to assume things.
