<div dir="ltr">Hi All.<div><br></div><div>Could anyone give me a hand with this?</div><div><br>I'm at the stage where I need to choose motors.  I am thinking I would like to go for something like 55Lb 24v.</div><div><br></div><div>I want to make motors in proper cans.  I have\had an idea to modify a minn kota or similar.  However, I am thinking that it will be easier just to buy motors and make the rest.</div><div><br></div><div>I dont really know where to start with choosing a motor.  I know I need one that is:<br><br></div><div>direct drive (ie no reduction gearbox)</div><div>DC 24v (possibly)</div><div>Produce about 55lb thrust.</div><div><br></div><div>I know there are loads of variables on choosing the correct one.  Does anyone have any pointers or links or any help to get me started?<br><br>Many thanks</div><div>James</div></div>
