To me it would be better to have a high power BHB2F at the hull side and the BHB2M at the MK-101.  I don't think you want male power pins hull side.  If ever you had the cable detached from the hull side bulkhead connector and had power to the pins it would be easy to short across these exposed pins.  In other words you want it like a house receptical.
