[PSUBS-MAILIST] Viewports - steel or stainless

Hi,

Is steel or stainless mostly used for viewports?
Have you had any problems with rust in the threads when using steel and
diving in saltwater?

I would imagine filling the threads with grease, and inspecting them on a
regular basis should be fine.

Was hoping I could go with steel, as I can get them cut out from the same
plate as the frontdome seat.
