Alec,
Tim is right, we are having a great winter.  It was +3C when I got to the lake but the wind made it real harsh.  I was toasty warm in he sub with my old school steampunk interior lights burning up amps to give me heat.  The wind blew the last of the ice off also.  You need to get some insulation and a furnace for that garage or do like Alan and convert part of your house to a sub shop. :-)
