Basically the idea was to make each column a successive iteration of
design. What you do is for example copy all the values in column C into D
and start changing them there. I agree with you a metric version would be
nice, but it's just this way because the starting point was a book in
imperial and initially this was just something I did for my own use so
local by definition.
