Alan,I want to use lead acid batteries, and after thinking how I would do it, a battery box is a better idea.  I will put the batteries in one or two plastic boxes and put rubber lids on.  Should be easy.Hank

Hi guys,I would like to switch Elementary from internal batteries to external batteries and flood them with oil.  Has anyone tried to make a cap for the top of a battery with a rubber top to hold in oil.  So instead of building a box around the battery, simply encapsulate the openings of the battery body.  Again this is in an effort to keep the sub light.Hank
