Brian,I built the scrubber to take 1 kg of absorbent and my absorbent comes in 1kg bags.  I think 1 kg is good for 8 hr or so.  I can send you a picture, it is pretty simple, looks like the plumbing department at the hardware store blew up lol.  It took about 4 hr to make.  I use a desk top monitor, it is actually the same as Emile posted but a desk top.
