Alan,

When you mentioned using gasoline for buoyancy and showed a nice bladder for fuel, I did a test. I though about what would be the lowest cost bladder to hold gasoline. I thought of an inner tube, so I went to my inner tube spot on the shelf and cut sample pieces and put them in a jar with gasoline. I don't remember how long ago that was now but I just checked the sample and the inner tube rubber appears unaffected. When I googled the idea, I did not find positive information, so a test was in order. I also have a long running test of an inner tube with oil in it, for over a year now I have been testing that, so far all is good.

Hank
