Finally, because I thought you might end up asking for it, here is the
sphere using 1.5" thick HY-100, where 1-13/32" is considered in the
working depth calculation, and the remaining 3/32" is the applied
corrosion allowance which does not contribute to working depth, but does
affect the final weight and buoyancy characteristics.  The mean and
outer diameter indicators do not update after the corrosion allowance is
applied, but these dimensions would be 43.5" and 45" respectively.  In
this iteration, you need about 770 lbs of supplemental buoyancy, but you
can put her deep in the mud beside Titanic at high tide without issue.
