If you haven't already I would install some fans to help circulate the air. I have two 4inch computer fans, one fore, one aft, that work pretty good for this purpose and they draw negligible power.

One consideration. CO2 is heavier than Nitrogen, so it may sink to the floor, if the meter is near the floor the reading may not be representative of the actual cabin CO2 level. Also if the meter is somewhere than CO2 can 'pool' around it reading may be higher.
Moving around will also help mix up gases which may help give a more accurate CO2 reading.
