Here are some photos of a diver propulsion
vehicle that I built. Since it qualifies as
a wet-sub, I thought your readers might be
interested.

It features a speed of 4 knot in it's current
configuration. A 24 V power supply provides
approximately 2 kW of power to the motor. The
motor can provide up to 8 kW of power when
48 volts are applied to it. It is 6'6" long,
weighs 280 lbs. It uses two 55 Ah Optima deep
cycle batteries. Also, a variable-speed controller
allows infinite speed adjustment via a twist
grip throttle.
