Designed at University of Hawaii. Designer is 70+ is not much interested or
unable to provide details.
Currently owned by Chris Jones. He acquired it from a bonding company that
owed him money. They had taken possion of it in lieu of money from builder,
shipped it from Hawaii to Washington state, and stored it outside. During
storage outside water leaked into the interior through a worn tarp.
Hull is welded steel. Per Chris joints have been x-rayed. No paperwork.
Hull material unknown.
Chris Jones will sandblast and paint surface rust.
Designed for 36V electrical system, motors and pumps.
Endurance 4 hours at 4 knots.
Pulpulsion is with 6 electrical motors. 2 fixed in stern and 4 in rotatable
pods. The two stern motors are still there. The motors in the pods are
gone.
Battery pods designed to seperate from hull with explosive bolts.
Viewports still wrapped in original protective paper.
Seals not stored well and all will have to be replaced.

Close up of stern. Silver cowling with fins is one of four rotatable
thruster pods. Motors, shafts and propellers are gone.

will filled with oil pumped from double hull storage tanks.

Box in front is full of valves. Green cooler in back left is full of
view ports still wrapped in original protective paper. Fibre container in
back right holds all the seals and rubber tubing.
