Frank Querzoli - Sharkhunter
|
Sub name: Sharkhunter
Designer:
Owner: Frank Querzoli
Builder: Perry Cubmarine
Description:
2 man, wet submarine
I don't have all of the history of the sub, but
I'll type up and small introduction to send with the photo's. I was suprised
to find that photo labled Sharkhunter, I thought that some one had beaten me to
it. The model that I have must be one of the early prototypes, I did find a
copy of that original article listed in your archives (Popular Mechanics) and
thats the one I have. The one in your photo is Sharkhunter 2 and it's the
precurser to the Reef Ranger wetsub that spun off from Perry Submersibles a
sale ( I think the Tritech deal). I have been in contact with someone at that
company and they think that they might even have some old plans and spare
parts.
