[PSUBS-MAILIST] Re: sealed away from water controls, concrete sphere sub?

All kinds of circuit boards to operate a DC variable speed motor. Just none of
them I have found thus far are already waterproof and pressureproof with an exposed to the water switch knob, handle or twistgrip. For my
application I don't need a fancy ...

D: I proposed the use of magnetic nearfield bubbles some time ago. There would be no physical connection just a send and receive chip. Similarly, couldn't a transformer power external equipment like lights? Or the external (to the passenger compartment) motor power supply could provide said power to the passenger without a physical breach? Even thru plastic to prevent metal heating up might work.
D.
PS - anybody wanna see 8000psi (compressive strength) seacrete sphere crush depth? <: It would take years to grow. You know, military subs go c. 2000' down and torpedoes 3000'. Could get BELOW them... wais limit on mines? I'm writing a sci-fi story about it.
