Thanks Bill,
That sketch was literally my "napkin" drawing concept. This was just after the Nautilus sinking cabin cruiser idea, and after I was indoctrinated to the "unpleasant realities" of submerging a volume of air...remember? That sketch was based on the S-44 surface replica that inspired me in the first place, and a one place design. As drawn now, she is two place tandem seating in....of all things...jet-ski style.
There won't be any torpedoes, that was just for fun, (unless Rick M designs me a rocket propelled torpedo :), but I do intend to have the outline of faux forward tube doors, she is after all, a military replica. Jet-ski and cruise ship "kill" silhouettes on the fairwater, and a broom lashed to the mast on return to the dock, will get smiles for sure.
The Devil's in the details Bill, I've got a long way to go, there are some serious structural issues due to weight of the lead / water ballast and surface motion to be resolved.
Thanks again
Joe

Hi Joe.I just saw your cad rendering of your proposed sub firing a torpedo at a jet ski on the psub's frapper site. Earlier I had seen your sketch that you posted on frappertoo. The sketch looked a bit different and was not as rounded on the bow and stern as what the cad was. After looking at your cad I now see more of the similiarityto the holland influenced designs as opposed to the Lake designs. She looks real nice! I eagerly await you finishing it. She will make one sweet looking ambient!Bill Akins.
