Hi guys,
I am considering using steam (as in the steam jet
that Juergen offered a while ago) to propell my larger submarine (10' hull
width, 120' long, 2000' design depth. No, I don't have the money to build it-
just a good imagination ;) ).
My question is this:
Is the effectiveness of any propulsion system, such
as a propeller, hydrogen peroxide, steam, compressed air, etc, at depths
over 500' increased or decreased significantly?
If there was only a 5-20% decrease in efficiency at
depths of more than 500 or 1000 feet, I don't think I'd change my plan.
Thanks for your help,
Alan
