Which is more useful: PSI or depth? I suggest PSI is the important
number because the pressure hulls are designed for a certain
maximum PSI. Depth does not mean a certain PSI because of
changes in temperature and sainity. Yes, the difference will be
small, but it'll add up as the hull is fatigued over time.
Why not use an upward-facing depth sounder to determine
how far it is to the surface?
