Thanks for the info Dave. This made me think about something. If someone DID want to sell their sub, perhaps they could sell it as
a collection of scrap parts with no implied warranty as to the serviceability of those parts. It wouldn't matter if your sub was disassembled
or not as long as your paperwork said it was unwarrantied scrap parts. Then let the buyer apply for their own homebuilt boat license. Just a thought on
an earlier thread that has been beat to death and I promised I had said my last word on, but this idea was too good to not post. One of my shorter ones too! Lol.

Significant submarine parts for sale.  42 inch pressure hull front end...battery pods with removable ends....cables....hydraulic motors for manipulators...thrusters....38 inch view port / 3 inches thick made by Reynolds...view port rings..6, 8 inch view ports in sail and Stainless Steel hatch ring....all parts where ABS inspected at one time....most parts are from the PC-14 and it had a working depth of 1200 feet.   Hell with ebay every one here deserves the opportunity to use these parts in their project. Lots and lots of stuff...all parts new would be around ,,,I'm guessing around $75.000... Health reasons have changed some plans...I'll send pictures to e mail sent to flydeep4u@yahoo.com  Serious inquires only..all componets must be sold together...$23,000
