Thanks for the info Dave. This made me think about
something. If someone DID want to sell their sub, perhaps they could sell it as
a collection of scrap parts with no implied
warranty as to the serviceability of those parts. It wouldn't matter if your sub
was disassembled
or not as long as your paperwork said it was
unwarrantied scrap parts. Then let the buyer apply for their own homebuilt boat
license. Just a thought on
an earlier thread that has been beat to death and I
promised I had said my last word on, but this idea was too good to not post. One
of my shorter ones too! Lol.
