I will be including a mechanical arm on the front
of my K-350 and was planning on using small hydraulic rams and fashioning it
like the arm on a back hoe. Does anyone have a system they built that they
are happy with that could fax or send me some data on it? I also would
like the pinchers to rotate and haven't figured that one out yet.
I also would like to include a flexible hose on the
mechanical arm that has a water jet tip on the end so that I can use it to
jet away sand. I envision a hull inlet and outlet with the motor/pump
being dry but would think that it would have to be a special motor "different
than a bilge pump motor" due to the pressure difference.
