The link below is the (Naval) Engineering 200
course text provided by the U.S. naval academy. You can go through and read all
the chapters if you'd like, I don't know how one would do any of the labs, but
the lab instructions are available as well.
I'm pretty sure it's all public domain stuff
considering that it's produced by the gov't and everything produced by the gov't
(that isn't classified) is public domain.
