This is the C series design, I am not surprised to see it dressed as a U-boat as Electric Boat, and Lake for that matter, were very active in overseas sales. I did not know they had sold to Germany. Interesting...WWI is just over the horizon at that time. Like Iran...sell them lot's of stuff so we have to nuke them later. (my apologies for the rant, I am raising a daughter)
I nearly ordered this model but, the pictures are so detailed and clear as to make it unnecessary. I am particularly interested in the empennage.
