That's a very interesting way to be deeply involved in a P-sub project if 
the timing isn't right for you to build your own.  I know I always enjoy the 
friendships I made with the different project I've been involved in.  I wish 
you were within driving distance when I was building my sub.  And if you 
come with some skills, all the better!  I hope you can connect up with 
someone.  Good luck
