Here's a link to a site offering an alternative to lead-acid batteries, using a silicate salt electrolyte... supposed to be environmentally friendly. The company literature spouts many advantages... I wonder what the disadvantages are. I'm curious if there is any out-gassing. I also wonder if there are any competitors.
I have no knowledge, experience or profit with these batteries... just passing along the information...
