Hello James.

You should try to contact some company capable of making iron tanks, I had
the same problem last year when I started my project, I couldn't find a
company with experience making pressure hull for submarines but what I did
find was an air compressor factory that was capable of rolling the iron
sheet for the pressure hull, make the end caps, conning tower, battery pods,
and then weld all the parts together. For them was really easy to make the
sub hull because they make tanks for their compressors that are very similar
to the sub hull every day. Forget sub experience, you have plans, find a
good reliable metal mechanics company that can construct the main parts, It
worked for me, I hope It does for you. Best Regards.

Hi All.

Does anyone know of a reputable company for manufacturing the basic pressure
hull components for K-350 in the UK.

There is an engineering company here in Guernsey Channel Islands where i
live that say they can help.  But they are small and i don't think they have
made pressure vessels before.  

I need the rolled steel tube, endcaps, reinforcing rings, conning tower,
battery pods and VBT.  All in component form.  

I'd prefer to use a company that at least has experience with pressure
vessels.   There must be somewhere in the UK that someone has used before?
